The Global America Pageant encourages all state delegates, while representing her title, to make a positive impact within her own community.

The Platform for The Global America Pageant is Breast Cancer Awareness. A portion of the proceeds from the pageant will be donated to the CARE:  For Your Health, a health awareness organization, in Florence, SC. "I myself have had breast cancer affect my life. My mother was diagnosed and is a 10 year breast cancer survivor," states pageant director Melissa Hooks. "Many women are touched by this disease every year, as a pageant system we want to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.”
